Matt+Hanna was founded in 2018 in Toronto by us, Matthew and Hanna.
Our journey began long before we started this business. Hanna worked as a professional groomer for 5 years, while Matthew spent 3 years as a kennel technician at an animal shelter, where he also became a certified dog trainer.
Through our experience, we noticed a powerful truth: a simple dog walk or a pet-sitting visit is more than just a convenience.

Our Commitment to Quality Staff
Our selection process is designed to attract and retain the best talent. Every member of our team has passed a comprehensive background check and a multi-stage interview. They are thoroughly evaluated on their pet care knowledge and professional experience before joining our team.
Once on board, they receive 1 week of specialized training focusing on dog behavior and animal care, which is followed by 2 weeks of practical practice as an assistant under one of our certified Pet Care Specialists. These high standards allow us to build a team of trustworthy and reliable professionals you can feel confident in.
