Carmen
Carmen, a sweet senior cat, was very shy around new people. Her owners wanted us to not only feed her but also provide company and playtime while they were away.
On our first visit, Carmen hid in her cat tree. Our experienced sitter moved slowly and spoke in a soft voice, using treats to gradually earn her trust. It took patience, but by respecting her space and showing her we were a source of comfort, our sitter successfully won her over.
Now, Carmen happily greets her sitter for pets and playtime, making her time alone much more enjoyable. It's moments like these that remind us what our work is all about
